The Programs |

|
Infant Program Our infant program accommodates to fit the child and family rather than assuming they fit into the program. The learning environment is carefully planned to provide age-appropriate experiences involving the developmental range of all the children in the room. The room is organized into learning centers and stations that maximize every child’s opportunity to explore with his/her body, mind, and sense. |

Toddler Program In our toddler program, each family and child feels nurtured, cared for and listened to. The primary caregiver makes each child and family feel special and positive about the day via phone, daily sheets, daily boards and in person. The primary caregiver is well informed of the child’s age, daily schedule, personality traits, moods, preferred play, and learning experiences. The learning environment is carefully planned and adapted daily to provide age-appropriate experiences involving all the needs of the children in the classroom. The room is arranged in a variety of learning center which maximizes each child’s opportunity to explore their surroundings. |

Preschool Program In our Preschool program, each child has a primary caregiver that ensures that the learning and caring environment works for your child. The primary caregiver also has the knowledge of the child’s parents name, schedule, concerns, and family information. The learning environment is carefully planned to be age-appropriate and meet the needs of each child in the classroom. The environment is filled with exploration, discovery, and respect for each learner. Planning of educational themes is a process based on the interests, abilities and resources of the children, teachers and parents. Everyone in the classroom are active learners!! Teachers/Parents/Children all have ongoing communication about what they observe, any questions they have, and what the future may hold. Our program provides an environment full of love, respect, and understanding. |

Four Year Old Program The Four Year Old program was developed to meet the educational needs of all the children in the classroom. The room is organized according to learning centers that give the children a chance to explore, discover, and respect all the different learners in the classroom. Teachers plan learning centers on a weekly basis with changes in the classroom environment at least once a month. The learning centers let the children have access to all the materials in the classroom. The centers in the classroom are chosen for a particular focus. Our goal is for the children to learn about the real world. Therefore, all the centers will have meaning for the children. Teachers plan field trips, resource visitors and introduce new material that coincides with the theme. Our Four Year Old program is filled with a rich and meaningful balance of skills. It encourages the children to be confident individuals as well as enthusiastic learners. To contact us: Phone: 518-373-1280 Email: info@sunrisechildren.com
